Bad Check Crime Report (9th Judicial District
Attorney):
Use this report to file a Bad Check Claim with the
District Attorney's Office if the total amount is less than
$5,000.00. There is no minimum amount.

Use this packet only if the combined value of
checks is greater than $5,000.00. For Bad Checks less than
this amount, please use the
Bad Check Crime Report directly above.

be dealt with according to Civil or Criminal Law and lists criteria
which must be met in order to have a GSPD case filed.
Includes a sample Demand Letter, and information on how to file a
Civil Lawsuit against the check writer.

Assistance and Law Enforcement Board (VALE) for some of the
financial loss resulting from violent or property crimes.
