The Glenwood Springs Police Department provides the
following services at its office during normal business hours
(Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., excluding
Holidays):
1. Records
-Report copy fee: $0.25 per page
-Reports can be faxed
-Email records/report request
here (please include a case number)
2. Bicycle Registration
-Free,

-Registration is also available during the
annual Bicycle Rodeo
3. VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) Check
-Fee: $15.00
-Either front desk personnel or an officer can perform
a VIN Check.
4. Certified VIN Check
-Fee: $20.00
-Only a Certified Law Enforcement Officer can perform a
Certified VIN
Check. Currently, GSPD has two sworn officers that can provide
this
service. Please call us at (970) 384-6500 to make arrangements
for a
Certified VIN Check. You can also check with either the
Colorado
State Patrol, or the Garfield County
Sheriff's Office if our officers are
not available.
5. Fingerprinting for Pre-Employment
-Fee: $20.00 for fingerprints only
$25.00 for fingerprints and photograph
-Provided by front desk personnel during normal
business hours only.
-Note: Fingerprinting for school volunteers or
employees will only be
done for Glenwood Springs Schools. |
